What is the water filling leak test procedure for stainless steel reactor

1 Before the water filling test, the accessories and other components welded to the stainless steel reactor body shall be completed.

 

2 The welds related to the tightness test before the water filling test shall not be painted.

 

3 The water-filling test uses fresh water, and the water temperature should not be lower than 5 degrees Celsius. For stainless steel reactors, the chloride ion content in the water should not exceed 25 mg/L. The aluminum floating roof test water should not corrode aluminum.

 

4 The reinforcing ring shall be filled with 0.1-0.2 MPa of compressed air for leak detection before the water filling test.

 

5 The foundation settlement observation should be strengthened in the water filling test. In the water filling test, if the foundation is not allowed to settle, the water should be stopped and the test can be continued after the treatment.

 

 

6 During the filling and discharging process, the breathing valve port should be opened, and the foundation should not be immersed in water. The water filling is the operating liquid level. When the strength of the stainless steel reactor is tested, the liquid level is maintained for 48 hours. Observe the stainless steel reaction vessel wall without leakage. Abnormal deformation is qualified. If it is found that the leakage should be drained, mark it before the water is released and make the liquid surface lower than the leakage point by about 300 mm, and then repair the welding.

 

7 When testing the strength and tightness of the top of the stainless steel reactor, the water level in the stainless steel reactor should be slowly filled with water at the liquid level. When the pressure is raised to the test pressure (1.1 in the design), the roof is observed without abnormal deformation. The weld is not leak-free (coated with soapy water). The stability test of the top of the stainless steel reactor should be filled to the designed liquid level and discharged by water.

 

The test should be slow. When the test negative pressure is reached, the stainless steel reactor top is not deformed to be qualified. After the above two tests, the stainless steel reaction kettle should be connected to the normal pressure, causing the weather to change drastically.
